For BSL Teachers

Support BSL Teachers in their Continual Professional Development

Today's teachers have a demanding, stressful and challenging job to do. It can be a full time job simply keeping up to date and developing your skills.

BSL Teachers in particular often don't have the same access to BSL teaching methdology that other mainstream teachers have for their subjects. This is where this website  will fill in the gap by offering resources and ideas to try and implement in your teaching.

Another key point to mention is that most teaching qualifications for BSL teachers do not teach HOW to teach a language, therefore, this website will offer some free and some paid training for BSL Teachers to update and continue with their knowledge and skills.

What can I offer you?

  • Free resources
  • Regular online support
  • Ideas for homework
  • Teaching theory in BSL
  • Scheme of work
  • Teaching materials

Why work with me?

  • I am one of the few people in this country who have studied how to teach BSL to a Masters degree level
  • I have over 12 years of teaching experience at all levels
  • I have a teaching qualification and Level 4 (now Level 6)
  • I understand how BSL students learn and so I know how to design the best resources

How much does it cost?

I like to work with each teacher as an individual, depending on their experience and interests. My costs can vary from £20-£40, however, contact me and we can arrange a chat about your needs. I am available through email, Facetime & Skype.
